We start to visit visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, The Temple of Literature (Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam) is one of the most attractive tourist spots in Northern Vietnam.Later proceed to Lo Prison, The prison was built by the French, from 1886 to 1901, When Vietnam was still part of French Indochina. The French called the prison Maison Centrale. The prison was called “A Hell on Earth” and now the prison is like a war museum for those who want to understand more about the war against France of Vietnamese people. After breakfast, Our guide will meet you at your hotel and start 120km comfortable bus journey through verdant landscape. Visit Hoa Lu Ancient Citadel with King Dinh Temple dating back to the 17th Century. Enjoy the lunch at our restaurant with the great local cuisines boat ride gently sailing along Ngo Dong river, capturing the wonderful scenery of Karst hills, rice fields and passing “Hang Ca”, “Hang Hai” and “Hang Ba” Villages, Arrive at Mua Cave and start an amazing trek up to the top of Ngoa Long mountain for watching the spectacular rice valley with precious view of the nature. Return to our bus and then come back to Hanoi.
Our bus guide will pick you up from hotel and follow the new high way to depart for Tuan Chau Island, Halong City, Arriving Tuan Chau Harbor, welcome aboard the cruise, and after safety briefin, the ship will take you on an over 5 hours journey cruise route which is renowned for its striking, passages uninhabited islets and outcrops have been given imaginative names by the locals, due to their perceived shapes, including Cock Fighting and Thumb, while enjoy Vietnamese mouth-watering lunch on boat. Arrive at Bo Hon archipelago, you will visit Surprising Cave to see a lot of stalagmites and stalactites with different shapes of sea lives, the go kayaking or bamboo boat in Luon Cave to discovery the beautiful lagoon. Visiting Titov Island with sandy beach adjacent to the towering limestone mountain with excellent backdrop of the Bay, and climb up Titov Peak for a panoramic view of the bay like paradise. You will have ample time relaxing and cruising back toward Tuan Chau harbor. There are a lot of activities sunbathing on upper deck, enjoy Sunset Party and make friends with other touring fellows while enjoying the worlds iconic natural scenery. Disembark and hit the highway to return back to your hotel.
In the morning, free time for your relaxing/ shopping or discover the city on your own before transfer to the airport for departure to Ho Chi Minh Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City – the largest city in Vietnam. Upon arrival at Ho Chi Minh Airport meet on arrival by our driver and transfer downtown, drop off at your hotel for check in (no early checkin including/ normal checkin time: after 14.00PM). After Breakfast, Get picked up at your city center’s accommodation to Mekong Delta, My Tho, Tien Giang Province. Drive past the freeway surrounding the rice paddy fields, where you can see and understand the rice culture of the Mekong Delta—visiting Vinh Trang Pagoda, the mix art of Chinese – Cambodian – Vietnamese architecture.
Get on the boat to visit the local life on Unicorn Island and understand the local work of growing fruit and having bees at home. Surely you will enjoy the cup of the local honeybee. Walk continuously in the village to the fruit orchard. Have a taste of the seasonal tropical fruit and enjoy the traditional Southern Vietnamese music performance (Don Ca Tai Tu).
Highlight of the trip is a relaxing, peaceful calm rowing boat on the small canal of water coconut. Take another boat trip to the other side of the island to experience the floating fishing farm.
Head to Ben Tre, the kingdom of coconut, to understand the local work of making coconut candy. Take one more boat trip or tuk-tuk to the local home for lunch. Get on the boat again to the boat station and head back to Saigon. Drop of at your hotel for overnight.
Get picked-up at your accommodation in the city center and drive to Cu Chi, around 65km. On the way to the Tunnels, visit the handicapped handicraft workshop.
Watch a documentary film about the Vietnam War. Discover special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms, storage, weapons factories, field hospitals and command centers helping whoever lives inside Cu Chi tunnels meet their basic needs. Discover many hidden lefts behind trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels and learning more about the handmade weapon and traps used during the Vietnam War. Seeing huge bomb craters and the mere 10–13 feet thick level of upper soil can support the bearing weight of a 55-ton tank and the explosive damage of bombs left from the war.
Break at the shooting range to shoot some real guns with Ak47, M16, M30, M60 (shooting fee is paid separately from the trip).
Highlight of the trip is to crawl and experience the underground town of Cu Chi Tunnels. This is the best part of the trip when you crawl into it to feel how it was like in the war. Guests who have claustrophobia be not afraid of crawling inside, you still can see it from above the ground.
