Overview
Pulau Seribu (Thousand Islands). A chain of 140 islands, mostly pristine, scattered across the Java Sea to the north of Jakarta. Pulau Seribu offers an array of activities, from lazing on golden sandy beaches to joining vigorous water sports and camping at ruins of old Dutch fort or enjoying first-class Accommodations, Bungalows and Restaurants. White sandy beaches fringed with coconut palms line the coast and the surrounding waters is a paradise for snorkelling and scuba diving.
The islands can be reached from Ancol Marina or Pasar Ikan (Sunda Kelapa) in about 2 hours by ferry or by chartered boat.
